Japanese Food for Weight Loss

You may be wondering why there are not many overweight people in Asian countries. I am grown up in Japan. I reviewed here what Japanese food is. Japanese eat a lot of fish and clams like Asari and Hamaguri containing good fat called omega-3. They don't eat beef very much because it is more expensive than other meat. They mainly eat chicken and pork as sources of meat. If you can't eat fish because it is fishy, you can eat capsules containing fish oil. They also eat many products related to soy beans in almost every food. The products include soy sauce, miso, tofu, fried tofu, and Natto (fermented soy beans). Soy beans are good source of mono- and poly-unsaturated fat, omega-3 as well as protein. They also eat a lot of mushroom like Shiitake containing powerful anti-oxidant called L-ergothioneine. It might be one reason Asian people look younger for their age. They drink green tea a lot a day. They don't put sugar or cream in the tea. Green tea also contains high anti-oxidant. Sushi is very expensive in Japan, too. They don't often go to sushi restaurants. But they buy raw fish (sashimi) and eat it at home. You can find Japanese restaurants in the United States to serve authentic Japanese food at cheap price. Ask Japanese around you. You may have a question why they are not overweight although Japanese eat a lot of tempra (fried food). But I believe they usually use fresh corn oil (poly-unsaturated fat) every day.
