Red Wine Extract for Healthy Life

Drinking daily moderate amount of red wine is well-known to protect against heart attack. But as I told you before, alcohol intake makes you gain weight. This means that something in red wine except for alcohol is good for health. Several years ago, I attended a meeting at Salk Institute, one of world-famous research institutes. A professor from Harvard Univ. Public Health talked about his research that worms taking resveratol from red wine live longer than ones not taking it. I was pretty impressed by his talk. The result was published in Nature, a prestigious journal. Later on I saw an article in a newspaper that a company called Longevinex started to sell capusles of red wine extracts without alcohol. I bought them and take one capsule every day. Recently researchers showed the red wine extracts (Longevinx) effects 9-fold more longevity genes and that they by far exceed the biological activity of plain resveratrol. They are not related to weight loss, but prevent against heart attack. They are not expensive. Around $1 a day.
