Weight Training for Your Body and Health
Weight training doesn't make only strong muscles and sexy body due to increasing muscle tone, but also make bones stronger. I recommend you see trainers in the gym not to be injured by weight training. You don't need to use heavy weights. Light weights are fine. It is important to know to use weights in right positions. So you need trainer's advice. I live in San Diego, CA and go to Shiley Sports Center & Health Clinic in La Jolla. My friend, Rocky Winer who is an experienced trainer in the gym and trained professional boxers gives me the exercise menu. The menu is chest and triceps for Mondays and Thursdays; shoulders and biceps for Tuesdays and Fridays; legs and abdomen for Wednesdays. Heavy weight training for Mondays and Tuesdays. Light weight one for Tuesdays and Fridays. He increases weight very gradually and teaches the postures to use the weights. The gym has Yoga class and Spin class. It also has swimming classes. All trainers are friendly, knowledgeable, strong. Some trainers got prizes in triathlon. The machines are brand new. Each cardiovascular machine has a TV monitor and an equipment for an iPod. The gym belongs to Scripps Clinic. If you live in San Diego, I highly recommend the gym.
